Sky Ghosts: All for One Review

I feel really bad about this because the author was nice enough to send me a free copy to review, but I just can’t get into this.

DNFing it at page 125. The characters are good and the world is cool but the writing is what bothers me the most. It is incredibly juvenile and kind of all over the place. The story was also painfully slow.

I really thought I would like this based on the synopsis, but it just does not gel with me.

I truly think that these characters are great and with a little more development, they could really do something with this story. However, the story needs to move a lot quicker than it did. While things did happen, it seemed to be building up to something that was just lingering after a while.

Overall, I think that with a little more workshopping, this book could have been a million times better and I sincerely hope that the rest of the series (especially the language) goes through a little more revisions.

Thank you again to Alexandra  Engellmann for providing me with a review copy of this book and I’m really sorry that it didn’t gel with me, but I think that this series has a lot of potential to go great places.
